Eveline&#039;s description of the change from Congregational to Presbyterian and the structural changes (&quot;removals&quot;) that followed hint at a turmoil that is intriguing.  I remember hearing about the &quot;Northern Baptist&quot; (where your dad was raised) and the &quot;Congregational&quot; church of Livingston which had declining membership, at some point in his youth joining together to become a &quot;federated&quot; church.  I know his grandfather was a Baptist Missionary, so I am sure the merger had great significance to his family.]]></description>
